On November 28th, 2003, we said goodbye to our friend Sarah.
Sarah came to live with us in 1995. She was a stray found by our friends Chara and Damon.
From the very beginning she was the best pet anyone could ask for. Full of character, her squirrel chasing ways were legendary on the Eastern seaboard. She hated UPS trucks but tolerated FedEX and the postman. She was sleek and fast. Her feet smelled like nacho chips. She was the Audrey Hepburn of dogs.
There will never be another like her, and she will always hold a special place in our hearts. Now she’s in doggie heaven, where the squirrels are cowering and the UPS man takes the long way around.
