Papa joined us this year on a trip to Yosemite National Park for Mothers’ Day weekend. The valley itself was stunning, as always. Waterfalls were roaring, wildlife was everywhere, and spring was in the air. We did, however, run in to a few campground nuisances. Apparently the rangers have special traps for these creatures…

One Sunday in April we took a day trip down to San Juan Bautista to check out the town and the old mission church. I highly recommend it. The church is beautiful, and for added drama is located right on the San Andreas fault!
