Holiday Food December 26th, 2007

MeatEggsSo far our holiday has been marked by feast after feast. Christine and I are cooking up a storm. The eggs benedict on Christmas morning, followed by a tenderloin roast with Bearnaise sauce for dinner, made it clear that my New Year’s resolution has to be something to do with exercise!!

We are learning a lot about making sauces over the last few days. I’ll never again cheat on making a Hollandaise sauce. It’s just too easy, and too yummy, to not do it from scratch.

Los Gatos Children’s Holiday Parade December 1st, 2007

JackieThe 2007 Los Gatos Children’s Holiday Parade was huge! It ran over two hours and had more than 250 individual entries. All three girls participated this year. Katie went with the brownies, while Amelia and Jackie went with the pre-school group. Pictures.
