During the kids’ winter break from school, we travelled to the “Mayan Riviera” on Mexico’s Yucatan peninsula. We stayed in a resort with a beautiful beach and a giant swimming pool. Ah ma and Papa came along too.

The highlight of the trip for me was visiting with my friend Dennis and his family. Dennis, Lee-Anne, and Kirsten moved to Mexico 4 years ago to start up a business diving on the reefs and in the caves of the Yucatan. We spent some time swimming in Gran Cenote. Next time, we dive!

You’ll notice that Katie lost her other front tooth… that happened the day before we left. Katie brought her tooth along and left it for the Mexican tooth fairy. The tooth fairy paid Katie in Pesos!
