Up Jones and over to Alma Bridge Road. Up Limekiln to the very top (past my crash site), then “down” Woods Road, over to Hicks Road and back up Blossom Hill to home. I was feeling pretty sluggish from the start, not sure why. Could have been the heat or maybe I ate too much before leaving home. Anyway, it was a grunt, but we made it!
This is the track for St. Joseph’s Hill, one of the “basic” rides near our house. It’s about a 10.5 mile ride from my driveway and back.
Tom and I did another decent ride this morning. We went up Kennedy Trail all the way until it intersects Limekiln, then down Limekiln to Alma Bridge Road, then up and over Jones Trail and back home. About 18.5 miles altogether. Also I crashed on the trail at about 20 mph. Now my new bike is officially broken in. Got a pretty good case of hamburger arm too.
