El Sereno, aka “Overlook”, is the other big ride close to our house. Whereas Kennedy Trail goes up the mountain to the East of Los Gatos, El Sereno is the mountain West of town. The approach to this trail goes right through downtown and the road is paved quite a ways up the hill. The trail is beautiful and scenic, with views out to the ocean in the West, and San Francisco Bay in the East.
