Meilei, Don, Katie, and I got up at 5:15am on August 19th to watch the sun rise on the Tetons. It was pretty cold, but we stuck it out and were treated to a beautiful, quiet morning on the prairie. There were bunch of other photographers out at “Mormon Row” and a few bison as well. I did not have a tripod with me and the photo geeks shot me long, disparaging glances (of course they all had tripods). My policy? Screw ‘em if they can’t take a joke.
