All the bike tracks I made in the first half of 2011. Well, most of them. The 104 mile mega monster is too far south, as is the CCCX race I did last weekend. 1918 miles in 80 rides so far this year.

For the rest of this year I’d like to do a few more rides in Henry Coe SP, a few up at Demo Forest, and maybe a race or two in the fall if I can get my act together.

First MTB Race of 2011 June 26th, 2011

I raced today in the final CCCX XC mountain bike race of the year. I learned a valuable lesson: don’t race your first race of the year with a bunch of guys who are riding their eighth race of the year.

Well, that hurt. June 12th, 2011

The Death Ride is coming up in about a month, so I figured it was time for a long training ride. Tonight’s going to be ice water, ibuprofen, and an early to-bed.
