Negative Tide November 27th, 2011

Yesterday there was a large negative tide on the West Coast. “Negative tide” means the tide drops even lower than normal, exposing things that we don’t usually see at low tide. We went out to Pillar Point near Half Moon Bay to walk out on the sea floor and take a look. It was amazing, and then the sun set right at low tide. Pictures on flickr.
